Data Architect


The successful candidate will work effectively with other team members to understand customer needs and to design, evaluate and develop IT solutions which meet those needs.  He or she will have at least 3-5 years experience in a data architect or similar role, and can demonstrate the ability to meet the following requirements:

  • Guide and influence team members, customers, vendors and other personnel to accomplish the team’s business-driven technical goals.
  • Work as a team member with client personnel to identify functional requirements and subsequently working with, or in some instances, leading others in the identification, justification and design of the client's solution.
  • Participate in both the sale and the delivery of the client solution.
  • Participate in a wide range of design activities, from requirements analysis through systems, application and/or process design specification.

EAI Middleware Specialist


The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and supporting application solutions to meet client requirements, including re-engineering highly complex application components and integrating software packages.

The EAI Middleware Specialist will be experienced with WebSphere Business Integrator (WBI) suite, especially ICS/Crossworlds and Message Broker, Middleware integration (e.g. MQ) and development. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience working with WebSphere Process Server. 

The selected candidate will be able to team with others to successfully complete a customer engagement and should have some experience with J2EE, JAVA and other software knowledge.  He or she will also have experience with TIBCO, Crossworlds, MQ Clustering, MQ Series, MQWF, WBI, AIX/UNIX, C++, CICS, DB2, HTML, J2EE, Java, Java Beans, Java Script, JSP, PERL, SQL, Visual Basic, WebSphere and XML.

SAP Project Manager


The SAP Project Manager will deliver on-time, on-budget, successful SAP implementations.  The successful candidate will have 5-10 years of SAP project delivery experience, where he or she will have built a track record of:

  • Developing work plans.
  • Managing deadlines and coordination of project team and sub-team activities.
  • Estimating project skill requirements.
  • Working with deployment to identify appropriate resources and managing their integration into the team.
  • Defining and agreeing on deliverables and milestones.
  • Setting and controlling scope of projects.

The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of SAP software and project implementation methodology.

The successful candidate will have a 5-10 year track record of:

  • Providing insight and advice to help our clients depict their target businesses and industries.

Business Integration Lead


The successful candidate will develop WebSphere Business Integrator (WBI) ICS collaborations, WebSphere Process Server (WPS), and develop WBI adapters for implementation of enterprise integrated solutions.

The Business Integration Lead will possess:

  • Expert knowledge of WebSphere Business Integrator and/or WebSphere Process Server.
  • Strong J2EE development and MQ Series skills.

Ascential/DataStage Software Consultant


The Ascential/DataStage Software Consultant will be responsible for data extraction, transformation, and loading techniques to build data warehouses.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Certified mastery or strong understanding of ETL tools such as Ascential DataStage or Informatica.
  • At least 3 years of direct project experience with Ascential or Informatica tools.
  • Ability to direct client engagements, from both the technical and people perspectives.

Project Delivery Lead


The successful Project Delivery Lead will provide technical project management skills and resources and work across the project and support client teams to manage, prepare, execute, and complete key projects.  

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate 3-5 years proven track record of: 

  • Managing the development, implementation and support of technologies to meet business specifications.
  • Project planning and management skills, including the ability to effectively balance multiple deadlines, projects and priorities.

Portal Strategy Consultant


The Portal Strategy Consultant will provide strategy consulting on Portal projects; lead portal implementation teams within larger, full life-cycle portal project. You must identify, document and maneuver around change management, organizational design change, and governance issues as they relate to a portal implementation.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • At least 5 years consulting experience around Enterprise Portal solutions: WebSphere Portal, SAP Portal (either EP/SP 5.0 or EP/SP 6.0), Plumtree, Vignette, SharePoint, or BEA Portal.
  • Ability to understand the “big picture” surrounding portal deployments, as well as the ability to communicate it to various stakeholders.
  • Strong presentation, communication and consulting skills.
  • Strong sense of ownership and commitment.
  • Team leadership experience required; specifically need to have experience leading teams within larger full life cycle portal projects (team sizes of 3-10+ resources).
  • Experience in the architecture, development, implementation and integration of portal solutions.

Business Intelligence Analyst


The successful Business Intelligence Analyst will bring to our growing team:

  • 3-5 years of experience in data warehousing, data management, and business intelligence architectures and tools.

Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer


The Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer will support our team of business development managers and consultants communicate complex technology effectively to clients and prospective clients.

The successful candidate will use his or her in-depth middleware or application (e.g., SAP) experience, to communicate how integrated technology solutions from DATASKILL and its partners can be leveraged in the client’s business environment to achieve client expected business results.   

He or she will routinely interact with clients and prospective clients to identify business requirements, determine primary areas of need, document findings and translate them into a coordinated demonstration of the products to address the client’s needs. The successful candidate will work closely with our business development and consulting delivery team to craft a programmatic approach to software and services pre-sales.

The Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer will bring to our team:

  • 3-5 years of pre-sales experience in IBM or Oracle middleware, or pre-packaged applications such as SAP.
  • Middleware or application requirement analysis and definition skills.
  • System configuration skills.
  • Middleware or ERP software demonstration experience with exceptional presentation and oral and written communication skills.
  • Document preparation skills, with strong Microsoft Office skills required.

Chief Information Officer – Interim


DATASKILL has an intermittent requirement for a Chief Information Officer.  The Interim CIO will provide IT leadership to certain DATASKILL clients, typically for a period ranging from 6 to 18 months.

The successful candidate will meet the following requirements:

  • At least 5-10 years of senior level (CIO or VP) experience leading an IT organization, preferably in a publicly-held firm or firm with $100 million - $1 billion in annual revenue.
  • Ability to deliver unbiased, business-driven technology guidance to an executive team, leveraging his/her knowledge of both technology and business processes with a cross-functional perspective.
  • Ability to align technology strategy with overall business strategy.
  • Proven track record in assessing requirements and providing intelligence to the organization regarding business trends and management needs and concerns.

The successful candidate will be available to participate in consulting engagements ranging from 3 to 18 months, and able to deliver leadership in these functional areas:

  • Strategic planning.
  • Focus on educating, sensitising and managing the expectations of line-of-business managers with regard to the realities, challenges, and fundamentals of IT.
  • IT department management – Managing IT staff, vendors, contracts, budgets and IT assets.
  • Project and program management.
  • Implementation of best practices.

Since this role requires agility and a keen ability to operate effectively in a range of corporate cultures and environments, preference will be given to candidates who have a proven track record in consulting or interim CIO engagements.
