IBM’s Watson is an artificially intelligent computer system capable of answering questions posed in natural language. Watson is best known for winning Jeopardy! against two human champions and is currently used in applications such as healthcare. Calling it the three dimensional view of the patient with an extra-ordinary dimension, the same ground breaking cognitive technology is being used to help businesses better understand their customers – how to retain the right customers and how to reach new relevant customers.
Since IBM Watson won Jeopardy! In February 2011, on DataSkill’s 30th year anniversary, DataSkill — an IBM Premium Partner for over 17 years — has been deploying this new technology to bring innovative solution to the marketplace. Confirmation was seen at the beginning of 2014 when IBM launched The Watson Group as its fourth new division and a billion dollar start-up.
With healthcare as the main, although not only focus, DataSkill is opening an office in Kuala Lumpur to lead the design of a Watson-inspired cloud-based transformation patient-centric population health and wellness program.
